About Lois

014I have enjoyed organizing and being part of an organized environment for as long as I can remember. I love sorting, categorizing and setting up simple, easy to maintain systems for everything from paper files to Christmas decorations.

With an extensive background in banking operations and management, I have set up departments from the ground up, including determining organizational structure, developing and implementing tracking systems and workflow, creating job descriptions and training, and bringing in the appropriate tools and systems to get the work done.  I have also consulted with companies needing to improve operational workflow and increase productivity.

During my banking career, I was responsible for staffs of up to 400 people, and often worked on cross-functional teams. In addition to managing a variety of operations functions, I have worked as a consultant, a project manager, a ghost writer and a sales agent.

I have always loved helping friends and family members with their organizing projects.  I am able to quickly determine effective and efficient ways of organizing drawers, closets, rooms or a workspace.  My goal in working with clients as an organizer and consultant is to find practical and effective solutions for my clients’ organizational challenges. I endeavor to create something that will work best for the client once I understand his/her goals and objectives. I follow a simple bigstockphoto_Office_Desk_2370259process that helps me and the client get to that point. I like the feeling of empowering people to enjoy their lives and not be defined by clutter. As a professional organizer, I can look objectively at your organizing challenges and offer practical solutions tailored to your needs.  I am a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and the local chapter, NAPO-LA.

In my personal life, I enjoy being part of volunteer organizations.  I am an active member of the Rotary Club of Woodland Hills and I serve on the Board of Malibu Pet Companions, a non-profit that provides medical care for homeless animals.   In my work with these organizations, I get the opportunity to use my organizing skills every day and I experience the sense of satisfaction that comes from completing projects in an efficient way.

Serving the San Fernando Valley and Conejo Valley, including Agoura Hills, Thousand Oaks, Woodland Hills, West Hills, Tarzana, Northridge, Chatsworth, Simi, Malibu, Calabasas, Camarillo, Sherman Oaks
